Family Ski Chalets and Family ski Holidays

May is always a quiet month in the ski industry followed by June which is again relatively quiet but a little busier nevertheless. Rather than twiddle ones thumbs it is nevertheless quite a busy time as many operators look to maintain chalets, update next years prices and generally use the down time effectively.

From a family skiing perspective, its also a good time to appraise how the last season went, what went well and what could be improved. Improvements are key but probably no more so than on family ski holidays when children are involved to ensure they just love skiing thereafter and importantly the parents get some well earned R and R.

In the current climate however improvements have to be balanced against the financial constraints and with the pound so low against the Euro and Swiss Franc many are finding times difficult. The cream that rises to the top will therefore probably be the family ski companies that are able to get more out of their business for less. Therefore expect a few successes against quite a few failures!
